Raghu Dixit’s inspiration by Savitri

Next, we ask for a song that’s not on the album. Dixit sings I still love you, which provokes giggles from the teenagers among the impromptu audience. The song was written as a reaction to Savitri’s intense argument with Yama, asking for her husband’s (Satyavan) soul to be let back into his body. “In college, a friend of mine gifted me this pocket-sized book of poetry written by Aurobindo, that’s the inspiration,” he says.
