The Life Divine explains who and what God is perhaps better than any other book

Scenic View: India Cherwell Online - Olivia Hanson
However, for the ultimate "Europe-in-India" experience, one must visit Puducherry, on the east coast, which was under French rule until 1954. The seafront promenade is like a rather run-down version of Nice's Promenade des Anglais, dotted with numerous French cafés and a towering statue of Mahatma Gandhi, who sadly reminded me rather too much of the BFG. The mix of Catholic churches, like the Notre Dame des Anges; gaudy Hindu temples; and the wonderfully peaceful Sri Aurobindo Ashram, filled with flowers and dedicated to meditation; really justifies this town's reputation as a melting pot of cultures.
Needless to say, but India really is unlike anywhere else you will ever go. Although the North is now getting its fair share of globalisation, the South is still relatively untouched, and wonderful for it.

Hugh Higgins - If God is an imagination of stupid people, that includes Moses, Isaiah, Jesus, Plato, Aristotle, Leibniz (who invented the infinitesimal calculus), Spinoza, Hegel, Alfred North Whitehead (who wrote Principia Mathematica with Bertrand Russell), and Sri Aurobindo, whose Life Divine explains who and what God is perhaps better than any other book. All of these were more stupid than Toni Korpela. Or so he thinks. [Sri Aurobindo's Life Divine: Lectures Delivered in the U.S.A. A.B. Purani]

I agree with the people who stated at the meeting "Others argued that the transformation of one’s consciousness does not depend on relics of the guru but only on one’s relation with the Divine."
This is another problem with the Auro-crew.  We are too eager to get into the topics about "changing cells" when basic transformation has not occurred.
KORAPUT: It was the ‘dasavatar’ on the stage by the little prince group from Sri Aurobindo Purnango Sikhya Kendra that kept the audience spellbound during the ninth annual function of Koraput Khabar, the cable weekly news channel of the district here.
