How is it at all rational to base one's conclusion on just one supposed "fact", and that too one's own interpretation of a single event in a vast and complex existence? If this man chooses to cling to his beliefs in the non-existence of Yogic force then so be it. Once cannot help so-called critical thinkers and self-promoting doctors from being fanatical about their narrow and limited view of the world. But to remotely argue online with folks who are experiencing things like Yogic force first hand is like a color blind bigot denying that anything like color can be experienced by others simply because he himself has no way of experiencing it or understanding it. It is amazing that this "doctor" who does not know the very basics of thinking is recommending critical thinking courses to others. Let him first make an honest attempt to understand before judging. That is the very basic principle of good thinking that this fellow is violating. But that requires a thorough research of all available facts, interpreting them rightly and then judging. However, instead of putting in the time and the effort required the "doctor" chooses to dismiss with cavalier disdain something that many others have experienced and continue to experience. This is really the depth of slothful non-thinking. Posted by Govind to Aurora Mirabilis at 4:52 PM , June 03, 2010
Bharti Broadband (122.174.70.205) Madras , Tamil Nadu , India , D. has left a new comment on your post "Why are you always searching for filth":
People like Mr. Nandhivarman and Dr. Raghu will be drawn to attack Sri Aurobindo and his Ashram as long as people from the Ashram or associated to Sri Aurobindo go out of their way and drum-beat about Sri Aurobindo's greatness and like merchants try to sell his achievements as miracles. Such people who fervently praise Sri Aurobindo, typically do so only to try to demonstrate to others the high degree of their devotion. They are actually more interested in promoting themselves as devotees of Sri Aurobindo in order to try and borrow or steal some his greatness with the hope that it rubs off on them rather than actually trying to follow the path that Sri Aurobindo's has laid out in front of all of us. And if we are keen and interested to follow the path that Sri Aurobindo has laid out in front of us, then Mr. Nandhivarman's or Dr. Raghu's observations will not bother any of us. Subbu.
