My name is Sandeep. This blog primarily discusses the Integral Yoga (Интегральной Йоги) of Sri Aurobindo (Шри Ауробиндо) & the Mother Mirra Alfassa (Мать Мирра Альфасса) , whose pictures are seen above. I am *not* affiliated with the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry and this is not an official blog.

Frankly, any answer I give you will be insufficient because it is not the mind but the inner being which needs to be convinced.

Personally, I don’t care about these questions anymore because I have travelled sufficiently on the spiritual path.

If you reach a similar point in the journey, you may also find these contradictions resolved.

Yes, that is why I added Absolute, because the Truth of the Supreme has been declared variously by many great Beings but a uniqueness of Sri Aurobindo is the completeness & comprehensiveness with which it is expressed in all its global, universal & immanenent aspects.

I almost agree.
Usually I don't approve of according the status of Finality or Perfection to someone.
I believe no one is perfect.
Perfection is achieved only in direct realization of the Truth. Rest is just philosophy.
Ayatollah Al-Dorsey
@auroviryavaan

Exactly. With Sri Aurobindo we enter a quite exceptional dynamic where realization itself is a beginning of or at least the preliminary decisive Freedom supporting the Sadhana for Perfection of all the planes & parts & powers of the Being i.e. it's whole Natural self-expression.

So rather than finality his approach in fact projects us into a whole new universe of spiritual and Divine possibilities and attainments. This is what we or at least I believe I sense when I read his writings or thoughts on any issue.

Yes. The uniqueness of Aurobindo is defined by the way he fused unprecedented creativity in the Spiritual tradition and took it to never before reached heights. The philosophy of Aurobindo brings down the Divine and makes it participate in its own creation.

According to what I’m reading, Sri Aurobindo, nationalist & religious leader https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sri_Aurobindo, studied Classics at King’s Coll, Cambridge. Not the anti-colonial slam dunk for the subject it might appear, tho, as he was preparing for entry to the ICS, British high admin.

Only in an uplifting hour of stress

No sir, there is no Mantra which is repeated in #SAVITRI like in #रामचरितमानस ।

Internally, especially when some other devotee is doing the recitation, we can chant THE HOLY Name of THE MOTHER and SRI AUROBINDO, which one is attuned to.

OM SRIAUROBINDO MIRA

In fact interrupting the Akhand path with a great name gives required rhythm to the recital as observed in case of Sunder kand of #Ramcharitmans ! So it can be v well tried in case #Savitri by #SriAurobindo !!

ISKCON's main problem in my view is too many neo-converts & foreigners who try & make it into a monotheistic cult.

Otherwise it should have been a great asset for us Hindus in expanding our frontiers on the Eastern side.. (only way to deal with "M" problem in Eastern Bengal)

It was Gaudiya Vaishnavs who before the British arrived spread Hindu religion among the Tripuris ,Manipuris. ISKCON could have done more had there been a pro-H govt in Delhi & states all these decades & ISKCON itself was less dominated by misguided foreigners

This tendency to get secular (which RKM has), and find Western audience (and $$) is primarily State induced. RKM was applying for minority org for survival.
Why would anyone risk their temples and $$ taken over by Govt?
