Veenapani Chawla's last play `The Hare and the Tortoise' was the summation and pinnacle of her artistic works and spiritual quest guided by Sri Aurobindo's

Sachidananda Mohanty, who received his education at Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education in Puducherry, has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of ... He recalled with fondness the unique training he received at Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education that contributed to the growth of his personality.
“A life dedicated to the pursuit of mental, physical, artistic and the spiritual selves of our being could be the key to the success of education. The influence of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram on young and receptive minds could never be fathomed. It is this vision of education, progressive and emancipatory in character, that could be the answer to the nation’s needs,” said Mr. Mohanty.
Mr. Mohanty’s last work was the book, Cosmopolitan Modernity in Early 20th-Century India, which draws on his association with Puducherry and features Sri Aurobindo, Mirra Alfassa or The Mother and Paul Richard, among others.
Mr. Mohanty often visits Puducherry as his family members and friends reside here.
