It is fascinating that prominent figures of the Indian national movement (across the political spectrum) like Radhakrishnan, Aurobindo, Iqbal engaged with the ideas of Bergson in some way. Can't find any work that shows this aspect.

You are outright ignorant. Bengal had never forgotten Swami Vivekananda, Aurobindo Ghose and Subhas Chandra Bose. Don’t pedal Sanghi nonsense in my TL. I have studied enough ethnic hatred of RSS against Bengalis to be influenced by ur propaganda. Over & out.
Sri Aurobindo wrote the poem "dwarf napoleon" in allusion to Hitler. I guess, the sentiment behind the word "dwarf" is common to both these cases: A petty undeveloped consciousness wielding gigantic power. The one's inner stature does not match one's influence and ambitions.
There is only one solution: by aspiration, concentration, interiorization and identification, to unite with the supreme Will. And that is both omnipotence and perfect freedom. It’s the only omnipotence, the only freedom — all the rest are approximations.

Because Gandhi got a good press which Aurobindo didn't.
Gandhi is now associated with the non violence crap & that crap is raged with India which we could not let go so easy.
Many in the west know India by his name & would say, Oh you're from the land of Gandhi. What can you do?
Worryingly like Hindus of the last century did to Gandhi Hindus of today, even sincere followers of Sri Aurobindo, give blind allegiance to their leaders. So prblm is not Afghanistan but Hindu leaders & Hindus themselves who r doomed by their own incurable meekness to lose India.

we don't know; Lokmanya had done that on scale not seen before him n m/hv taken to greater heights - with his associates (Lalaji, BC Pal etc) n comrades (Aurobindo Ghose was chief among them_ - but for forced long exile. MKG harvested than but then what did he do with that?
Sri spoke about the relevance of Sri Aurobindo's thoughts today in Auro Avalokan shibiram. He was a proponent of #SantanaDharma goading Bharateeyas towards abhyudaya and nishreya .. Prosperity for the glory of motherland, nishreyas ( connecting to the Divine).
Acharya Kasireddy Venkata Reddy gave guidance today in the 'Auro-Avalokan shibiram', (Train the trainers program). The speakers will go to villages and towns to spread the message of #SriAurobindo.

Rules of the game, surely, are pivotal but success, most often, is achieved by flouting them. Dishonesty, therefore, is rampant and intellectual dishonesty is a far more serious malaise. For those who talk about ethics seldom practice it in real life. Yoke of party is the culprit.

The petition filed by Peter Heehs, author of ‘The Lives of Sri Aurobindo’, in the Orissa High Court challenging the ban imposed by the State government on the book has been finally dismissed after nine years.
The bench endorsed the government’s contention that norms prescribed filing of such petitions within a maximum period of two months of notification of an order, but the petition was filed after over two years.
