Hegel's Eurocentric racism can take a hike, but surely there are important liberatory potentials in his philosophy that make his works worth studying. Eg, this was a wonderful workshop:
Hope to see you this September at the Whitehead~Teilhard conference (in person at Villanova University or online!).
There is a certain section of our society that has enjoyed privilege, luxury & opportunity but gives every excuse in the book to justify others less fortunate, not being able to avail of it.

Amazing article, which brought back the nostalgia. I would have pointed out another reason the dinosaurs hate the new normal... It changed a significant number of us from good little sheep under their "set narrative" to us questioning them and their ideas, we found our VOICE

May be you know more than Sri Aurobindo.... I am not that enlightened yet
No you are not wrong.

I spent 4 days Auroville last month.. Just filled with gratitude and emotions to all he went through and the path he showed
Thank you ji.
and I look forward to the views of this distinguished reader on Reading Sri Aurobindo.
Dhruv Rathee exemplifies Auroville, Tamil Nadu as communism, when it really is a most nefarious form of capitalism. Those who became rich by ecological destruction, hijack forests of those who are one with ecology, while appearing noble by hiding behind unscientific spirituality.

It’s not quite a book. More of a tiny collection of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother’s aphorisms on meditation by M. P. Pandit. #meditation
Instead of believing in the story of creation and evolution popularised by science, Indians need to internalise the cosmology of Sri Aurobindo as expounded in The Life Divine and The Secret of the Veda. Getting rid of the India-centric chauvinism is essential for an Integral view.
Growing up in a village in Odisha in the sixties had many advantages. No Muslim politics, no Dalit politics, no Mandal politics, no compulsion for religious rituals, festivals were food-centric, and no one told us not to take non-veg. Chicken however was not permitted in kitchens.
