PUDUCHERRY, March 4, 2016: The Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research (SACAR) is organising a seminar on 'Harmony in Management' on March 20. According to the organisers, harmony, along with integral management, wisdom and power are key enablers for CEOs and business leaders to achieve their goals. An individual manager can improve his/her effectiveness by ensuring harmony and balance within oneself – between his/her inner thoughts and outer actions and between the mind and soul.
If large corporations and owners of family businesses have to ensure that harmony by putting in place a clear succession plan, for many MSMEs, a key concern can be maintaining a harmonious liaison with the financial institutions and regulatory agencies. Corporate houses too need to conduct their operations so as to remain in harmony with other organisations, environment and society at large.
The proposed seminar is designed to explain the deeper and richer dimensions of harmony which is a key aid in achieving collaborative business and create progressive society. The seminar will focus on improving managerial effectiveness in the intra-personal, interpersonal, intra-organisational and inter-organisational spheres. The event is aimed at owners or senior managers of MSMEs, executives from social enterprises and NGOs, management academicians and students.
