The Supermind carries out its function of translating the Unity of Sat-Chit-Ananda into the world of multiplicity of Mind, Life and Matter through a process that can be called “ignorance” in a more or less original sense, because the awareness at this level literally “ignores” its inherent oneness and treats itself as if it is separate and unique and independent. We may also call this a process of “exclusive concentration” whereby the manifestation of Matter, Life and Mind focus exclusively on their own action and “forget” they are part of a larger, unified whole. Even as these 3 levels are manifested, they still in reality are aspects of the One Consciousness.

Edmund from germany on trumpet and Aurovilans Misko on piano and Holger on violin and double bass made a memorable jazz concert on wednesday night the third of February in Pitanga. The hall was full of people and the ambience of the hall added to created a special experience. The audience got to listen to some old jazz classic compositions by artists like Charles Mingus and Morgan Lewis. The band also played some new songs like the jazz version, of the famous song Exit Music by the pop band Radiohead, by Brad Mehldau, the song had its roots in the western classical music and appealed to all music lovers of all ages and interests.
